FISH GM SATISFIED AMID 7-GAME SKID

After seven straight losses and their eighth trade in 11 games, Flaming
Fish GM Carson Pierce says he is satisfied.

"There is bound to be a transition period as our 10 new guys get used to
the 10 original guys.  I also think that some of our players are simply
in a slump.  Give us a few more games and we'll be on track.  I think we
have the core of a playoff team here - it's just a matter of putting it
all together."

Asked if more trades were planned, Pierce responded: "Well, I'll never
say that anyone on the team should feel secure, but I'm done actively
pursuing changes for the moment.  We would like to strengthen our left
side somewhat, but only if the right deal comes up."
