Here's what the Official Newsman M.Marc Hebert had to say about it: " There was long long negociations. You know, M.Stumpf is commanding a very high salary, because of his status in the world of hockey. At the beginning, we weren't thinking to awnser his demands, but, ultimately, he proved his point so we agreed to give him what he's worth. It's costing us a lot but we're confident that in the long run, it will prove good for the sales, and ultimately for the league."
