The Norsemen played very well yesterday, avenging the cruel loss of 11-4 the Corinthians had inflicted them a few games ago. The arrival of rookie goaltender Philippe DeRouville from Chicoutimi (acquired in a trade for Jason Dawe a few days ago) seems to have stabilized the teams defense but in the 2 last games, it is the offense that isn't producing. DeRouville allowed only 6 goals in his 2 first starts in career but the offense gave him only 4 goals, which is well under their average of 4 per game. Yesterday, Sundin continued on his streak, scoring once, and takinf the lead in the league's shooters (101 shots). Brett Hull scored the other goal while Joe Nieuwendyk had an assist, bringing his total with the Corinthians to 5 goals and 4 assists in 6 games.
