DOMINATORS WIN SECOND STRAIGHT, NEWCOMERS PLAYING GREAT

DES MOINES (AP)~~ The Des Moines Dominators won their second straight game
today by defeating the Fury by a score of 5-3. Jari Kurri and Kevin Stevens
both had good games as they both scored two goals. Kevin Stevens got his
fifth game winning goal of the season. Rookie Jason Botterill was
outstanding with three assists. Necomer Scott Lachance got his second goal
in as many games and Dan Kesa and Jeff Brown each added an assist. Lachance
started off slow but has two goals and one assist in his last three games
with the Dominators. Dan Kesa and Jeff Brown have both played nine games
for the Dominators. Dan Kesa has one goal and seven assists in them nine
games. Jeff Brown has one goal and ten assists in them nine games. "Wasn't
quite sure if trading Renberg was a good idea but Kesa and Brown have been
awesome. Would like to see a few more goals out of Kesa but as long as he
is clicking with his line I will not be disappointed. Scott Lachance
started slow and I once again thought maybe trading away Laperriere was a
mistake but Lachance has finally got used to our system and is blending in
very well." said a happy GM-coach Jason Kolsrud.

DOMINATORS NEWS:

The Dominators are still looking for another center as Bob Corkum is just
not working out. The Dominators still have a few left wingers that could go
and a couple of right wingers that could also go.
