Jari Kurri had a fantastic game setting up three goals for the Dominators. Newcomer Scott Lachance notched two goal as rookie Jason Botterill had a goal and an assist. Jeff Brown scored the game winner with 4:25 left to go in the game. The Rapids scored with twelve seconds left in the game to bring the game within one but the Dominators controlled the ensuing faceoff which went to Jeff Brown who relaxed knowing all he had to do was clear the puck and the game was thiers when Sergei Samsonov of the Rapids cross-checked Brown square in the face. "That was a totally (bleep) shot. The game was all but over but Samsonov thought it would be good to cross-check Brown in the face. We have sent a tape to the comissioner in hopes of getting Samsonov what he deserves." said a very displease coach Jason Kolsrud. Jeff Brown will miss the next seven games for the Dominators. This is the first injury off the year for the Dominators. Coach Kolsrud is just hoping that the team can stay up and keep playing solid hockey like they have been.
