Kingston - GM Marc Hebert made another important move yesterday, when he
sent Geoff Sanderson, acquired yesterday, to the Steelcats. In return for
Sanderson's services, the Corinthians receive another left winger, Keith
Tkachuk. The Corinthians also gave the Steelcats the Flaming Fish's 6th
round draft pick, which they had acquired for defenseman Cam Hulse. "
Sanderson didn't really fit in our plans. I acquired him as a trade bait,
as I figured he would be more attractive that Hull. I've been trying to
obtain Tkachuk for some time now, and I'm very happy to have finally
succeeded. Sanderson is a very good player, but he is the same kind of
player as Sundin, Friesen, Koivu, while Tkachuk is a power winger. He has
a very good shot, hard checking and he's very strong. We're very happy
with this acquisition and we're very confident that Tkachuk will help the
team.", said an obviously very happy M.Hebert.

So now, with all those trades, here are the potential lines for the
Corinthians for their next game:

Line 1  Koivu-Sundin-Friesen
Line 2  Primeau-Nieuwendyk-Tkachuk
Line 3  Kron-Bordeleau-Gilchrist

No doubt, the Corinthians now have one of the best 2nd line in the league.
