                Miika Elomo proves his weight in Gold.

CALGARY {CP} - Calgary has been a buzz recently with the upcoming WHL season
as the city realizes not only does it have one competitor for the Cyber Cup.
It has two..the HUSKIES and the CLOWNS.  Both teams are 2-0 at the
pre-season which has the CLOWNS getting a little to "cocky" in the eyes of
Huskie GM, Shaun Driver.  When asked about the threat the CLOWNS may bring
he commented, "I want to play these goofs during the season opener.  Someone
has to show these guys that their line-up has holes.  And I mean a lot of
holes!  Someone gets a big head over there and I want the HUSKIES to be the
team to pop it."
        In response to the most recent 3-2 overtime win over the Dominators,
which was referred to as a "fluke" by the CLOWNS GM...Shaun stepped up to
bat in support of his own team.  "A win is a win, I don't care how you get
it.  But the sweetest thing about the win was that rookie Miika Elomo scored
two goals in the process.  He was offered to the CLOWNS with another player
in exchange for Dandenault but the CLOWNS response was..."who the hell is
Elomo!!"  Well tough guy now you know!  As the HUSKIES seem to have it
all...rookies, vets, and a whole lot of talent!"
