After doing well in the preseason, the Lunatics took on the Clowns. "It was great out there, our team went out in practice and looked at the those new guys and we had a laugh. I mean we out shot them what, 40-27 and I didn't even play some of my better guys in Jocelyn Thibault, Lyle Odelein, Claude Lemieux. I mean this guy comes in and thinks he is all big and tough. He then dares to take on the craziest team out there the Lunatics, and kaboom, we kill the guy. I mean the team played like the name, they all played like Clowns. The only reason they got a goal was because Pat Jablonski was trying to do cart wheels and make those silly balloon animals while in goal and at that time he was giving the balloon elephant to a kid in the first row so the Clowns had an empty net to score in, Hell that is the only way they could score! These guys belong in the Big Top Tent, not on the ice. Leave hockey to the real boys like us the Lunatics and Shaun Driver's Huskes!" Those were the comments that were heard late Tuesday night from coach Jason Stumpf as the Lunatics left the clowns to blow there own horn and decided to return home to the Insane Asylum to prepare to take a real team tonight.
