Chicoutimi (QC)

	For the first time in their history, the Chicoutimi Sparrows are
showing some success. After 4 games, they are alone at the top of their
division, the powerful Admas Division. Saturday night, the Sparrows beat
the Kingston Corinthians. It was the first game of the season between the
the Hebert brothers' teams, and Mike couldn't hide his satisfaction after
the game. "I am very happy with the team. Turgeon is among the top scorers
in the league, Juneau has more points than games played for the first time
since he began playing in Chicoutimi, Tocchet got three points tonight
(Saturday) and rookie defenseman Berard already has 5 assists! The team is
playing very well defensively as well. We lost Lachance and Laukkanen to
injuries, two of our best defensemen, yet the team manages to play well.
Young Heward impresses me; he's quiet, but very effective."

	Mike went on to say "Felix Potvin is also off to a good start. He
seems less worried than last year with the addition of Berard, Neckar and
Heward to the team. He's been able to concentrate better, he's no longer
being left alone all the time, without any support from the defensemen."

	Right winger Doug Brown is still being shopped around the league.
Brown is unhappy in Chicoutimi, and doesn't get much ice time. As well, he
has no points as of yet this season. During the last few weeks, there had
been a rumour that he was going to be sent to Pittsburgh in exchange for
Dino Ciccarelli, but talks were called off. It has also been reported that
the Sparrows have an interest in the Dominators' Vladimir Konstantinov. We
will wait to see where that interest will lead.
