"There is a lack of effort on the part of some of our superstar, if the don't want to put up then they should shut up." This burst of anger was directed at Wendell Clark after acquiring 9 minutes in penalties and only one shot on net. "I know Wendall is a star in this league but by now he should know the difference between a good penalty and a lazy penalty." When informed that the warriors were interested in a power left-winger Berteotti said he would look into a deal that would make him happy as well as Wendall. " We have not be approach by many teams with serious offer for Wendall but we are always willing to make a deal if it is in our best interest. As well as Clark, Berteotti made it know he is shopping around defensemen Doug Bodger and Rob Blake.
