With the Lunatics down 5-4 halfway into the third period, Alex Ovechkin scores his third goal of the game to tie it, followed by his fourth a minute and a half later, and Waterloo win their first game of the season, 6-5 over Saskatoon. Ovechkin now leads the WHL for points with 24, and goals with 15.
